Escape is a collection of miniature oil paintings on Georgian oil paper, shaped by light and the way it settles into a landscape.
These works focus on the in-between moments: early light that softens everything it touches, and the slower, heavier light of sundown that asks you to pause. Light has a way of changing colour, mood, and pace — sometimes gently, sometimes decisively. That shift is what I’m drawn to. Each painting isn’t about reproducing a view, but about holding onto a single moment — a brief sense of quiet, distance, or stillness. A small place to rest your eyes.
